the job of Miner have been a very prestigious job in Ruhr area. Due to economic justifications and not affordable and the damage to the environment most of the mines have been closed in this area.
Until today, only two mines are still open and they will be closed in September 2018, and these miners are the last generation of this business identity in this industrial country. So this is the end of mining era in Germany!

These pictures were captured in a ceremony for appreciating the miners that held in Bockum this year and miners from all over the country were gathered there to say how much they pride to their work and how much their job society is big and seems like a family.
